It’s the ‘calm before the storm’ this week, as we just have tomorrow’s dinner with Josh Bell from Dawn Capital for last-minute diners to join. Next week is a completely different story with five dinners across a variety of industries and interests for you to take your pick from. Here’s the lowdown on each:

Dine with Seedcamp: what we look for in the companies we work with
Carlos Eduardo Espinal, Partner at Seedcamp will be offering diners tips and insights around the topic of growing startups. Seedcamp is a new kind of fund supporting startups from the pre-seed and seed stage. Seedcamp initially invests up to $250K and accelerates startups across the product market fit, traction, growth, and scale stages, from seed funding to IPO.

Freelancers’ networking dinner: top freelancer Greg Dillon as after dinner speaker
Our dinner is for London-based freelancers, independent professionals and the self-employed to network with like-minded individuals, talk about specific issues and gain insight from Greg Dillon, who will be providing an after-dinner talk. Greg was a finalist in the IPSE’s search for the best freelancer in the UK.

International Women’s Day: Celebrate Women Social Entrepreneurs!
As part of International Women’s Day, we will be celebrating the achievements and stories of Women Social Entrepreneurs at this dinner facilitated by Servance Mouazan, CEO at OGUNTE CIC, and in collaboration with June O’Sullivan from London Early Years Foundation. June was recently named Social Enterprise Women’s Champion at the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2014.

Ecommerce dinner with Ivan Retzignac, founder & CEO of MedicAnimal.com
Join Ivan for dinner and hear him talk about creating one of the largest and fastest-growing e-commerce companies in Europe. Founded in 2008, the company has raised over $45m in funding and has over 2.7m transacting customers. MedicAnimal was last year ranked the 11th fastest growth technology company in the Sunday Times Tech Track league table.

#MeetandEat for beverage startups
James Shilcock, founder of Vivid Drinks, will be sharing valuable insights for upcoming startups in the beverage industry. Hosted by Indré from Cinnamon Bridge, this dinner is for people who are passionate about drinks, food, taste and brand building. It’s for people who love experimenting with flavours and who want to make something big and globally recognised.
