Introducing Natasha Terinova, TableCrowd Sustainability Ambassador

We’re introducing Ambassadors to TableCrowd, who are passionate about their sector or industry.

This means there will be someone with their ear to the ground on the most interesting speakers, as well as a face you’ll recognise at every dinner for that industry. Find out more about Ambassadors here. Our Sustainability Ambassador is Natasha Terinova. We’ve interviewed her to find out more about her and her business:

What were you doing before your current role?

Founded Vmoto UK, electric scooter business; sold it and helped set up mobility as a service platform for light electric vehicles (MUTE).

~~

What’s your biggest ‘hindsight’ moment?

There are so many! One of my biggest lessons is to have solid shareholders agreement protecting everyone’s interests. Passion and enthusiasm are the hallmarks of a great founding team, however when things get challenging it’s paramount to have it in place. It will define how changes in the company should be dealt with, including how key decisions are made.

~~

What will the next year bring?

Government, academia innovators and founders will create collaborative partnerships making the UK a leading hub for emerging clean technologies, which will in turn help create economic and societal benefits.

~~

1 piece of advice for someone starting a business in your sector?

Stick to your vision.

~~

What’s your favourite business in your sector (not including your own)?

Oh my…there are so many! Skipping Rocks Lab – they have so much potential to reduce the use of plastic in so many sectors! Or… Starship Robots – food delivery robots – makes me feel like I’m living in a Star Wars movie!

~~

What are you passionate about being an ambassador for this sector?

We are living in such an exciting time of change with emerging clean technologies transforming every aspect of our lives. I was lucky to be involved in projects that contributed to [r]evolution of mobility technologies and I can see its potential to reshape the future of society and to create smarter, more efficient and sustainable cities.

I believe that we can grow the economy while going green and I want to be right in the heart of change, meeting innovators and sustainability stakeholders who share my vision.
