Following the success of their last dinner, this is the second dinner Insane Logic are holding on TableCrowd to discuss the current climate of the Social Care industry. The theme for the evening will be 'Meeting the requirements of the National Living Wage in Social Care- Sustainability, Technology, and Cooperation? It is a chance to meet industry professionals from the Health and Social Care sector, and hear from speaker Bob Tindall.
Bob will be discussing the new realities forced upon social care organisations by the National Living Wage and the challenges this will bring. There will be a chance to ask Bob questions you have and discuss issues and ideas with others who work in and with Social Care organisations. Insane Logic will be facilitating the dinner which looks set to be an interesting and fun evening for those who are passionate about adult care. Come along to share and discuss the challenges your company faces and to share ideas and advice over dinner.
Price includes private dining experience, a 2 course dinner with half a bottle of wine per person and the after dinner speaker.
Bob's career started when he worked at several long-stay institutions for those with mental health problems or learning disabilities.
He then worked in a senior role in local government, before joining United Response – a leading national voluntary organisation providing care and support to people with learning disabilities and mental health problems – where he became Managing Director. Here he helped to drive United Response through a period of change and development to improve the company and the service it provides, leaving it in a fit state to continue its good work and to face the future with confidence.
Bob left United Response in October 2014 and now runs his own specialist social care consultancy, Fettle Consulting.
Bob’s whole career has been devoted to developing the types of support that enable everyone, including people with severe and profound learning disabilities, to live in ordinary, everyday settings alongside everyone else.
Indeed, he says his biggest career achievement is having been part of the movement away from institutional care towards supporting people to live well in community settings.
This is a private dinner hosted by Insane Logic. Annie Logan will be there on the night.
