Caroline will be talking about what makes a great story and what grabs her attention for stories to report on at Bloomberg, particularly in tech and in the UK startup scene. Her reporting focuses on economics, markets and technology (read her full bio below) and she has some really interesting insights and stories to share.

Caroline Hyde is a London-based presenter for Bloomberg Television, with a focus on economics, markets and technology. She regularly interviews chief executives, finance officers, politicians and research analysts - including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Whatsapp co-founder Jan Koum, Adidas Chairman and CEO Herbert Hainer, Arcadia Group owner Sir Philip Green and London Mayor, Boris Johnson. She also covers the start-up scene in London and Europe, regularly interviewing top investors and founders in the sector such as John Collison, co-founder of Stripe, Samir Desai of Funding Circle and Danny Rimer of Index Ventures.
Hyde has also provided in-depth reports on the London property sector, tech scene and shone a light on the European start-up community.
Hyde, who joined Bloomberg in 2008, previously covered the European debt markets for Bloomberg News as a corporate finance reporter, focusing on company loans and bonds as well as sovereign debt.
