Who is Michael Stoop?
Michael Stoop, Exec Director at The Property Ombudsman, Chair of Industry Forum, non Exec Director at Belvoir PLC, Non Exec Director at Sorbet HQ and and the former managing director of leading residential real estate agent Winkworth. Michael has nearly four decades of estate agency experience and is a Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the National Association of Estate Agents. He has recently become the Non Exec Director at Sorbet HQ, a proptech software platform that aims to save letting agents and property managers time on scheduling maintenance and inspections.

Michael has nearly four decades of estate agency experience and is a Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the National Association of Estate Agents.

Michael is the Chair of TPO’s Industry Forum, has served as a TPO Board member since November 2003. Michael was appointed to Vice-Chair of the Board in December 2014 and was also a member of the Disciplinary Standards Committee from 2008-2012. Michael is now a non-executive director for TPO’s unitary Board.

Michael has also recently become the Non Exec Director at Sorbet HQ, a proptech software platform that aims to save letting agents and property managers time on scheduling maintenance and inspections. Michael has watched with keen interest the growth in the proptech sector and how technology has and is continuing to change the landscape of the property industry.

Michael is also Chairman of Agents Giving, which is a charity set up 11 years ago to encourage estate agents to raise funds for good causes.
