In 2012, Mat led the global launch of Just Eat's brand campaign to ban home cooking, 'Don't Cook, JUST EAT'. In his tenure as CMO, Mat built a team of experts covering retail, brand and digital marketing. Mat worked previously at The Financial Times, toptable and gameplay.com.

Following the 'challenger brand' marketing strategy, the Don't Cook campaign saw the company rise above established traditional takeaway brands through a series of theatrical brand moments.

Mat left Just Eat in 2016 and now spends much of his time mentoring startup founders who have started tech companies in London. Mat previously worked for The Financial Times, toptable and gameplay.com.
