We’ll enjoy dinner, drinks & a chance to meet fellow entrepreneurs, followed by an after-dinner talk and informal Q&A with Leila Rastegar Zegna, founding partner at Spring Partners, a new early stage venture capital fund based in London.
Leila is an entrepreneur and investor across both the US and UK. She has raised $70M for 2 ventures in Silicon Valley. She has strong ties in both London and Silicon valley tech scene.
Leila will talk about the importance of building a strong community around you, and how to get it working for you - including how to collaborate successfully with new/existing communities, prospective clients, investors and commercial partners. This is vital for all new businesses, particularly those that don’t have big budgets at their disposal. Having experienced first hand the benefits of a strong and supportive network, this is a subject close to Leila's heart (and also close to the heart of the team at TableCrowd HQ!).
This dinner is open to founders and entrepreneurs.
It will be an amazing opportunity to network with other like-minded entrepreneurs to share ideas, challenges and experiences, as well as to talk to Leila informally over dinner about what you're working on.
The cost includes private dining experience with speaker, 2 course dinner with wine plus highly curated and relevant networking.

Leila Rastegar Zegna is a Founding Partner of Spring Partners, a new early stage venture capital fund based in London. As an entrepreneur and investor in both the UK and US, Leila has strong ties in both London and Silicon Valley’s tech scene. She’s an angel investor that has been involved in multiple startups including Matterport, Grovo, 500 startups, Bloom & Wild, Thread, Virtusize and many more.
With an MBA from Harvard, and graduating from Yale cum laude with distinction, Leila’s educational background is the stuff that dreams are made of! She founded her first company, BRED, as an undergraduate at Yale. BRED (Bringing Relief Every Day) bridged the gap between leftover food in the universities dining hall and the homeless people lining the streets of New Haven. The core of the organisation was to serve the homeless and the hungry, whilst instilling a sense of community in the students at Yale. Over a decade later, BRED is still going strong.
After completing her MBA, in addition to becoming an angel investor, Leila was a founding team member of GenapSys, a genomics company developing a revolutionary DNA Sequencing technology. She spearheaded the financing efforts, raising over $50m in venture and institutional funding in seed, Series A and Series B rounds.
Beginning her career at Bain & Company, where she worked with a range of companies and sectors, Leila has now accumulated a strong track record of scaling startups from the early stages through multiples rounds of financing and product launches.
Her leisurely pursuits include playing tennis, skiing or hiking, as well as attending start-up events or learning something new at General Assembly.
