Old StreetPinchito Tapas is a Shoreditch restaurant that’s a hit with a kooky mix of scenesters, London City types and socialistas who love the bite-sized food, killer cocktails and effortlessly eclectic décor. Pinchito Tapas is the sister restaurant to the wildly successful Pintxo People restaurant in Brighton, and the place oozes Spanish style with its boho black and charcoal grey walls, blue leather seats and bright red accents. With live DJs, Cuban jazz bands and old school salsa, the restaurant is a popular spot for after-work drinks and informal business meetings, and we love the chorizo and mango tortilla, the ham and cheese croquettes and the Pink Sangria cocktails made with strawberries, lychees, elderflower, rosé and gin. The chefs at Pinchito Tapas respect the seasonality of their ingredients, so menus change four times a year, but there are daily tapas specials too. Wednesday is always paella day, an authentic Spanish treat.
