Enjoy dinner drinks and a chance to meet…
Pierre Paslier is co-founder of Skipping Rocks Lab, an innovative sustainable packaging startup based in London. Pioneers in the use of natural materials extracted from plants and seaweed to create packaging with low environmental impact, their first product, Ooho, is aiming to revolutionise the water-on-the-go market with its spherical flexible packaging (you might have seen it in the press!). Skipping Rocks Lab recently raised over £800k via equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube to further develop Ooho, and Pierre will share all on building a product focused on sustainability.

This dinner is perfect for…
Business owners, management level and CEOs.
If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!

The dinner conversation will be…
Pierre is a seasoned speaker and has given a number of talks at events about his projects including TEDx conferences in Athens and Warwick. As the co-founder of Skipping Rocks Lab he is perfectly placed to share all on:
✓ Building a product and business focused on sustainability.
✓ Gaining high profile press includes in the NY Times, Guardian, and BBC.
✓ How to approach crowdfunding and raising equity via Crowdcube.
✓ The story of Ooho and what he has learnt so far.

Who is Pierre Paslier?
Pierre Paslier is an innovation design engineer and entrepreneur based in London. In 2014, he co-founded Gravity Sketch, a VR 3D design platform and Skipping Rocks Lab, a sustainable packaging company. He's currently co-CEO of Skipping Rocks Lab, where its main product is Ooho, an edible water sachet made of seaweed! Pierre started his career being a Packaging Engineer for L’Oréal in the daytime and hacking 3D-printers in his living room at night!

*Proud to partner with Crowdcube. This is great opportunity to come and meet the team if you are thinking about crowdfunding*

What’s included?
You get a private dining experience with a knowledgeable speaker, 2 course dinner with wine or 2 soft drinks plus highly curated and relevant crowd. This is a dinner, not a dropin event, so we ask that guests turn up on time and don’t leave until after the Q&A.

He loves DIY, especially if it involves home made drones lifting dangerous electronic components or new ways of decorating the streets when nobody is watching. He has spoken at several conferences, including 2 TEDx talks, and his work has been exhibited in the Tate Modern.
