As a mentor at Microsoft Ventures, New Entrepreneurs Foundation and more, Ed describes himself as a ‘global-focused entrepreneur’. As a founder of Minerva & Co, Ed led the growth from zero to a team of 45, with an impressive client list including Apple, Nike, Disney, Calvin Klein, Ritz-Carton, Ctrip and Virgin.

Ed’s background is in marketing and branding, and is also a regular presenter at events for organisations including TEDx, ad:tech, London Business School, Entrepreneur’s Organisation and many more.

About Ed: "I'm a global-focused entrepreneur based in London. I lived in Shanghai from 2003 – 2015 where I founded three businesses. I have a marketing / branding background having worked for digital marketing and research agencies in London before my time in China.

I’m a regular presenter at events for organisations including GE (FastWorks), TEDx, ad:tech, Columbia Business School, Imperial College London, Saïd Business School at Oxford, Entrepreneurs' Organisation (EO) and London Business School. I've also been interviewed by publications including Wall Street Journal and Financial Times.

In Shanghai I co-founded Minerva (formerly JETT customer experience) one of the leading consumer research consultancies in China. Minerva is a two-times shortlisted finalist at the British Business Awards with a 45-strong team and clients including Apple, Disney, Nike, Gap, Ritz-Carlton and Virgin.

I also co-founded side-project LGCLdesigns. Our product (SIMPLcase for iPhone) crowdfunded on Kickstarter in 2013, shipping to customers in over 50 countries and selling through Apple Retail.

From 1998 - 2003 I worked for three digital marketing, research and advertising agencies in London with a focus on tech clients: Microsoft, AOL, Excite, BBC Online.
