Who is Peter Cowley?
An active and award winning angel investor, Peter Cowley is non-executive director or board observer for many of his 55+ b2b investments. He is also Investment Director of the Marshall of Cambridge, Martlet Corporate Angel division, and is chair of the board of the Cambridge Business Angels. Peter has also been on the other side of the table, setting up and running small businesses in technology and construction, after completing his Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Cambridge.

Peter Cowley is an award winning Angel Investor who has over a ten year period personally invested in over 55 high-growth startups. His portfolio of investments is largely made up of deep product technology businesses, reflecting his experience, skills and background.

Peter is the Investment Director of the Marshall of Cambridge, Martlet Corporate Angel division, and is chair of the board of the Cambridge Business Angels. He has led many investment deals and is a non-executive director of five angel-backed technology start-ups, plus a board observer of several others.

After studying Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, Peter went on to set up and run small businesses in technology and construction, and become a director of the Cambridge Computer Lab Ring and Chair of the ideaSpace Accelerator's supporters. He is also a Fellow in Entrepreneurship at the Cambridge Judge Business School and a Freeman of the City of London.

He appears regularly on media outlets and also speak at events and participates in judging panels in areas relating to technology, entrepreneurship and angel investment.
