To date Metail have raised a whopping $32m in investment, with most recently £10m raised in July last year in series B funding. Who is Tom Adeyoola?
Tom Adeyoola is the CEO and Founder of Metail, a virtual fitting room service for fashion retailers that allows customers to create a 3D model of themselves and try on clothes. Metail was born back in 2008 after Tom teamed up with co-founder Duncan Robertson and the two started to look at using breakthroughs in advanced computer vision technology from Cambridge University to help consumers love shopping online as well as in store. Since then the Metail team has grown from two to about sixty.
