He has built up a portfolio of over 60 angel investments with a number of good exits and several failures. He was UK Angel of the Year 2014/15. He has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs and is on the board of seven startups. He is also the Chair of the Cambridge Angels and President of the European Business Angel Network. He has mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs and is on the board of seven startups.

He is chair of the Cambridge Angels and is a fellow in Entrepreneurship at the Judge Management School in Cambridge. Peter is also the founder of The Invested Investor, a not-for-profit social enterprise platform that is on a mission to improve the journeys of startups by educating angels and entrepreneurs to make fewer mistakes, work better together and produce more successful exits.

He appears regularly on media outlets and also speak at events and participates in judging panels in areas relating to technology, entrepreneurship and angel investment.
