Enjoy dinner drinks and a chance to meet…
Sarah Hesz is co-founder of Mush, an app that operates like tinder for mums, using GPS and shared interests to link like-minded mothers with kids the same age. Founded in 2015 and launched in 2016, Mush has raised just over £1m from VCs, Angels and crowdfunding and has had over 100,000 app downloads since launch. Sarah will be sharing all on achieving those first 100,000 app downloads.
This dinner is perfect for…
Female business owners, CEOs and management level, or those ladies looking for a career change and seeking some inspiration. Sorry chaps, this isn't one for you!
If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at email@example.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!
The dinner conversation will be…
Alongside co-founding Mush, Sarah has a wealth of management and director level marketing experience, so is perfectly placed to speak about:
✓ Finding and marketing to your target audience - is your app solving a real problem?
✓ Key techniques for getting to your first 1000 users.
✓ The story of Mush - from 0 to over 100,000 users.
✓ Gaining investment as a female founder.
✓ Balancing being a Mum and an entrepreneur.
Sarah is keen to pass on her own experience and knowledge of launching an app to market. Learn from Sarah on the key techniques Mush used to build an active and growing community, and what, if anything, they would chose to do differently if they were to start again. Take this opportunity to chat with Sarah and your fellow diners informally over dinner.
Who is Sarah Hesz?
Sarah had been craving adult chat after she gave birth to her second child. When Sarah, whilst in the park, plucked up the courage to chat to fellow mum Katie Massie Taylor, who had two children the same age, the pair quickly became close and within a year had conceived the concept for Mush. Prior to Mush, Sarah was a very successful and experienced marketing director. Sarah used this previous knowledge and experience to great advantage when launching and growing Mush.
You get a private dining experience with a knowledgeable speaker, 2 course dinner with wine or 2 soft drinks plus highly curated and relevant crowd.
P.S. TableCrowd are offering complimentary cab rides home (£15) thanks to their partner, Gett, on first download of the app. Download the app in advance.

The free app engineers the sort of sanity-saving connection Sarah and Katie found in the park on a national and international scale; it has for example 8,000 members and counting in Australia.
Aneka, one of the TableCrowd hosting team will be on hand to make sure you are welcomed through the door and introduced to the most relevant people to you.
Aneka started her career as a professional dancer but due to becoming ill with meningitis she hung up her tutu and discovered her love of turning nothing into something - entering the life of a entrepreneur and since then has not looked back. Setting up a Lifestyle Management company that has thrown celebrity events that has received international press coverage to providing business development for clients in the entertainment industry Aneka is a natural host!
