Blaze is creating the ultimate products for urban cyclists. Launching with the Blaze Laserlight, a radical innovation set to drastically improve cyclists' safety.
Emily will be sharing her story with Blaze, from its inception at University, a successful kickstarter campaign, through to the £1m venture capital raise earlier this year and their progress since. The Blaze Laserlight has attracted investment from the family of Sir Richard Branson, now sells in 50 different countries and is stocked in key retailers like Evans.
Emily’s achievements are immense and she has a wealth of experience to share over dinner. Take this chance to meet Emily, to hear her story and to talk about what you’re working on.
The cost includes private dining experience with speaker, 2 course dinner with wine plus highly curated and relevant networking.
P.S. TableCrowd are offering complimentary cab rides home (£15) thanks to their partner, Gett! on first download of the app. Details on the night.
Physicist turned designer turned bicyclist turned entrepreneur. Art and design had always been Emily’s passions, but a knack for maths and science led her first to Oxford University’s Physics Department. After a year of perfecting her abstract thinking skills, she finally gave in and pursued Product Design in Brighton. The Laserlight was her final year project. The excitement that her concept generated triggered her to start her own company to make it a reality.
This dinner is hosted by one of TableCrowd's wonderful hosts. She'll be looking after you on the night.
