We’ll enjoy dinner, drinks & a chance to meet fellow entrepreneurs, followed by an after-dinner talk and informal Q&A with Nick Verkroost. Nick is currently a Principal at DC Thompson Ventures.
DC Thompson have been in the publishing game since 1886 and is one of the leading media organisations in the UK. The company publishes newspapers, magazines and books and has diversified into new media, digital technology, retail, radio and television through investment interests.
There have been big changes for businesses in digital media and publishing and from his time at DC Thompson, Nick is perfectly placed to give an insight into how tech is shaping the industry. He currently heads up DC Thomson Ventures, the venture capital arm of the company, which focusses on early and later stage investment into digital media as well as other sectors, so Nick can also talk about when they invest and the new tech in the sector that excites them.
Take this chance to meet Nick and to talk to him informally over dinner about what you’re working on.
Price includes private dining experience with after dinner speaker, 2 course dinner with wine and highly curated and relevant networking.
