Andy has operated as a CTO for a number of high growth startups since 2006, most notably the award winning Made.com. He now runs Saccade, a network of 22 freelance and interim CTOs, providing project rescue, coaching and acting CTO services for businesses of all sizes. Saccade also curates a newsletter for technology leaders and CTOs, Tech Manager Weekly, with 300 senior technologists reading every week.

Andy Skipper is an executive level technical manager, with hands on development and testing background experience. He now runs Saccade, a network of 22 freelance and interim CTOs, providing project rescue, coaching and acting CTO services for businesses of all sizes. Saccade also curates a newsletter for technology leaders and CTOs, Tech Manager Weekly, with 300 senior technologists reading every week.
He has built and managed several successful agile teams of PHP, Python, Java and .Net developers and testers, including internationally distributed teams. He specialises in implementing agile practices which provide means of constant improvement within the development and operations teams, and a culture of improved transparency with the rest of the business.
In a consultancy capacity, Andy often acts as the internal technical stakeholder, by involving himself deeply in the business and by becoming part of the team. He is then able to apply his knowledge and experience to ensure the project meets the client's expectations, and that a solid ongoing relationship with the agency can be achieved.
