Who is Max Kelly?
Since 2015, Max Kelly has been MD of Techstars London. Prior to Techstars, Max had a long background running innovation and entrepreneurship at Virgin, and alongside his Virgin commitments, Max also co-founded lastsecondtickets.com, which had a successful exit in 2014. Max began his career at L’Oreal running the UK’s largest haircare brand. He obtained a First Class Degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.

Prior to joining Techstars, Max had a long background running innovation and entrepreneurship at Virgin. During his time at Virgin, Max created the concept for and founded, Virgin Insight, the internal marketing and strategy consultancy created and owned by the Virgin Group. While there, he was responsible for the strategy of the group and for starting several companies, which eventually exited for more than $500 million. Alongside his Virgin commitments, Max also co-founded lastsecondtickets.com, which had a successful exit in 2014.
Max began his career at L’Oreal running the UK’s largest haircare brand. He was a scholar at Oxford University, where he obtained a First Class Degree in Chemistry.
